BENNETT’S BIO

ALL RADIO & PRINT (SECULAR & CHRISTIAN)
Emerging as one of the nation's key
speakers on 'coming out' of homosexuality and the 'gay' agenda, Stephen Bennett
brings a bold, uncompromising perspective on one of the most heated topics in
America today: homosexuality.
As a man who once lived the
"gay" lifestyle until he was 28 years old, Stephen is now happily married
to his wife Irene of 12 years. They are
the parents of two little children - a boy and a girl.
Stephen, 42 years old, is the founder
and Executive Director of Stephen Bennett
Ministries (SBM) – a national
pro-family advocacy group – and national Talk Show Host of Straight Talk
Radio – a daily, half hour Conservative radio program
broadcast Monday through Friday (also streaming on demand from the web.)
He is an outspoken, passionate
speaker with a resolve to educate America about the truths and dangers of
homosexuality, as well dispel the myths of the "gay" misinformation
campaign.
Stephen is a nationally sought-after
speaker in the secular and Christian media outlets with an 'insider's perspective'
on the issues of homosexuality and the 'gay' agenda. He boldly confronts the 'gay' agenda
and its proponents head on.
Stephen Bennett appears frequently on
numerous talk shows on television and radio nationwide including: CBS Television, Fox News
Channel, Fox News Live, The O'Reilly Factor, CNN’s 360owith Anderson
Cooper, The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, Paula Zahn,
Showbiz Tonight, CNN’s Headline News, The Today Show with Matt Lauer &
Katie Couric, Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer,
World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, The 700 Club, PAX Television Network’s
“Faith Under Fire” with Lee Strobel, Billy Graham's
Decision Today, Concerned Women for America, TBN, CBN, Sean Hannity,
Geraldo Rivera at Large and Mike Gallagher. Stephen has also been featured in many
national publications including USA Today, The Washington Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago
Tribune, CNN News, Charisma Magazine and
the Associated Press. If you
are looking for a guest to bring a bold, pro-family perspective on any
story related to the ‘gay’ issue, Stephen is the one to call.
Stephen often writes for many
national publications including World Net Daily and he is
the Special Issues Editor on homosexuality and the 'gay' agenda for The American Family Association
in Tupelo, MS. When called upon,
Stephen speaks on behalf of Concerned Women for America
in Washington, DC. Stephen is
co-authoring his first book with Ed Vitagliano titled
“I Was Gay" expected
fall of 2006.
Stephen passionately represents the
pro-family view on the issue of homosexuality.
Stephen takes into consideration his target audience (secular or
Christian) and addresses them appropriately. He is able to effectively debate in a secular
venue. His message is extremely powerful, sometimes controversial and
uncompromising - yet always one of hope… addressed respectfully.
Stephen is available for
'counterpoint' and commentary for the media on any stories relating to
the homosexual issue… and he is not afraid of confrontation or debate. Stephen's
perspective is unique in that he has been known to 'ruffle' feathers on both
sides of the fence - and according to Bennett, “This is good, for it makes
everybody really think the issues at
hand."
Stephen Bennett’s office is located
in Huntington, Connecticut, only about 1-1/2 hours from New York City, 2-1/2
hours outside of Boston. He is able to come in to the studio or has a satellite
studio/uplink he uses located in Stamford, Connecticut.
